I'm Lisa.
I am an American convert to Islam. I am a graphics designer and I am a full-time student at Ribaat. Ribaat has paved the way for a new career path for me as a teacher and spiritual counselor, Insha'Allah. I pray that as I continue to walk this path, that Allah SWT guides me and enlightens, and purifies my heart so that I can be used to preach the beautiful message of Islam.
It was this new path that inspired me to start this blog, I wanted to write from the heart and curate a collection of lessons learned along the way. Lessons I have learned about being on the spiritual path, seeking knowledge, personal growth, modesty, relationships, and maintaining a healthy balanced life.
These collections of notes and journal entries serve as a reminder for myself first and foremost. I am collecting every lesson learned from my teachers and mentors. It was important to me to have a place where I could reflect back but also share these gems with other women, insha'Allah.
